Clasal, specialist in pumps
Clasal has been the specialist in cast iron pumps for more than 100 years.
It all started with Alidor Claeys. After the first world war he started with a factory making malleable and mechanical cast iron near the station of Zedelgem. The activities now take place at two different sites: nv Clasal and Alidor Claeys iron foundry.
The employees of nv Clasal are a mixture of young people eager to learn and highly skilled professionals. Clasal NV invests constantly, both in people and in infrastructure.
Acquisition of GEHO ZD pumps & expansion of operating surface
A steady growth obliged us to expand. In recent years the operating surface has doubled.
In 2014, Clasal NV acquired the 'Geho ZD Dewatering Pump' division from WEIR.
This makes Clasal a global player in the field of piston pumps with a capacity of up to 100 m³/h.
